Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was of exceptional quality and located right in the center of the city. The rooms were spacious, clean, and decent-sized, although there was a bit of increased noise from other rooms. Looking for a place to stay? Look no further; we will definitely return.
I had a fabulous stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and had lovely personal touches, but the noise from the nightclub kept me up at night. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff always willing to assist, even at odd hours. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of Cardiff with everything within walking distance. The dining experience was a bit disorganized, but the food quality was great. Overall, a great value for money with excellent facilities.
The hotel room appeared smaller than on the website, but turned out to be cozy and equipped with all the amenities necessary for a business traveler. Stayed up till 1 am chatting with friends, haha! The service staff were constantly apologizing due to speed issues and missing items from orders, yet one team member went above and beyond to explain the problems with car parking and even offered a complimentary late check-out. The location was perfect for a night out exploring food and drinks outside the onsite restaurant. Although the layout was a bit peculiar and close to the seating area, the hotel is right in the heart of Cardiff, minutes away from the castle and surrounded by all the attractions you could want. Dining was not particularly my favorite, but pre-booking meals at a reduced rate was a good deal. Plus, the location is highly recommended. Overall, a memorable experience with some minor hiccups but great value for the money.
The hotel had all the accessories we needed in the rooms, but the layout was a little confusing with some rooms being far away. The service was extremely friendly and the location was perfectly situated in the city center, despite a slightly run-down entrance. The dining experience was excellent overall. The facilities were sufficient for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely lovely. The room was of a good size with great decor and facilities, including a very comfy bed and everything I needed for an overnight stay. The staff was friendly and attentive. However, finding the hotel was stressful as it's not visible while driving, and parking was non-existent. The coffee served at breakfast was the worst I've ever tasted, which might haunt me for years to come.
The hotel staff were great and the shower products were divine, although the rooms had no view. It was clean overall, but some areas could use more attention. The hotel is tucked away in an Arcade on the High Street, offering a central location with easy access to shops and restaurants.
I absolutely loved the modern meets traditional design features of the hotel. The maze-like layout added a unique charm. While it took a bit of time for the room to warm up, the big suite made up for it.
The hotel room was so comfy and clean, just as expected from Indigo hotels, but it didn't have that 'wow' factor this time. The service was A* with very friendly and helpful staff, although they seemed a bit busy at breakfast. The location was ideal for our plans in Cardiff City center, but finding parking was a little bit tricky. The dining experience was very good with a great menu selection, but not quite up to the usual Hotel Indigo standard. Overall, a comfortable stay with attentive service and a convenient location.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful! The coal mining-themed room was incredibly comfortable and had all the amenities I could ask for. Despite being on a busy street, the room at the back was peaceful and quiet, just like a home away from home. The service provided by the manager and staff was top-notch, they were so friendly and offered helpful advice. The location, right in the center of Cardiff opposite the Queens Arcade, was ideal for exploring the city. The dining experience had its flaws, with some organizational issues and long wait times, but it was still decent overall. The facilities were great, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
I had a fantastic time at this hotel. The rooms were amazing, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed; I will definitely come back. The mini bar only had 1 small mini bottle of rose wine, which was a bit disappointing, but the extremely comfortable bed, all the plug sockets, lovely bathroom, and well-designed space made up for it. The staff were super friendly. The tea and coffee facilities could have been better, but overall, it was a highly recommended stay at a very reasonable price.
The hotel is like a room away from home, full of quirky features, with a queen-size bed beyond comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, providing all the information needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect, right in the center of town, close to everything in Cardiff city center. However, the dining experience seemed quite disorganized, letting the restaurant down with not enough selection. Price offered good value for money but worthy of note that there was a concern about other customers who had issues during their visit.
The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Cardiff, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and bars. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well detailed, offering a pleasant stay. The service is exceptional, with thoughtful touches and helpful staff.
The hotel offers trendy and super clean rooms with cozy amenities like bathrobes, a comfy bed, rocking chair, fridge with water, kettle/tea/coffee, hairdryer, and ironing board. The service is outstanding, with lovely extra touches, birthday surprises, and valuable gestures towards guests. The central location ensures easy access to all the city has to offer, making it a perfect choice for travelers. The dining experience, although a bit chaotic, elevates your stay with meals in a beautiful Marco Pierre White restaurant. Overall, a great value for a memorable stay.
The hotel is ideally located in the vibrant heart of Cardiff, making it convenient for exploring the main shopping areas and enjoying the city's attractions. The city view rooms, while offering a lively ambiance, could be a bit noisy at times, and the temperature control might need some adjustment. The hotel provides an exceptional level of service with friendly and accommodating staff. Dining options were decent, although improvements could be made in offering more variety, especially for vegetarian and vegan preferences.
I had a delightful stay at this hotel right in the heart of Cardiff. The rooms were clean, quiet, and filled with charming Welsh touches, even though the view was lacking. The hotel staff were fantastic, making our stay even more pleasant.
